Pre-Cleaning

Pre-cleaning is the processing, following the delivery of the harvest, in which an initial and rough separation between the product and foreign bodies (stones, insects, weeds, etc.) is carried out.

Selection

Selection is the process that guarantees a product free from impurities, seeds that are qualitatively unsuitable for sale, and foreign bodies (earth, stones, glass, etc.).
Our optical sorter has Trichromatic (T) RGB Full-color 4096 pixel cameras and NIR (infrared) cameras for product recognition.

Object recognition and the percentage of the selected color within it are provided with an optical resolution of 0.06 mm.
RGB and NIR cameras are integrated with each other so as to inspect the product and capture it in one
image in 4 frequencies.

Packaging

Once the selection is complete, the product can be collected in big bags, in 25 kg sacks, or packaged in a protective atmosphere in bags of various weights, with the option of applying an adhesive label or cardboard hangtag.

Storage

Over the years, Cerqueto has expanded its infrastructure, now boasting a 1,000-square-meter facility for product processing and storage, two containers, and a temperature-controlled cold storage room.
