Cerqueto is a company in the agri-food sector located in the Alta Tuscia of Lazio with headquarters in Acquapendente (VT).

Founded in 2001 as a sales representative for the agricultural and agritourism company of the same name, Cerqueto operates in the field of typical and organic products, addressing in particular the market of Italian legumes and cereals and those typical of the upper Viterbo area.

The company, thanks to the legume selection, cleaning and packaging plant it owns, operates along the entire supply chain: from cultivation to selection, transformation, packaging and marketing of the products in order to guarantee the traceability and quality of the raw materials. used.

Cerqueto is a company created to satisfy the desire to market the products of the farm of the same name and of other small local companies and is today able to satisfy the growing demands of the various segments of the market, stipulating cultivation contracts with the agricultural companies of the Italian territory. It is precisely through a direct relationship with local farms and those from other regions that Cerqueto guarantees the consumer a quality product.

The conservation and valorization of the traditional products of Tuscia constitute the guiding principles of the work of the Cerqueto company and its strength is undoubtedly that of continuously researching local companies producing legumes and cereals and small artisanal processing laboratories.

Over time, the range of products has expanded to include pasta, pâtés, pickles, jams, honey, vegetable-based preparations, wines and liqueurs, forming a large catalog of delicacies and specialities.

Sustainability

Investing in environmental sustainability is more important than ever and, for this reason, Cerqueto has chosen a green energy production system. Furthermore, the system was installed on the roof of the company to avoid the removal of areas from quality agricultural production.

From the passion for agriculture to export to Europe

Over the years the sales network has consolidated not only on the national but also international market and the company has expanded both from the point of view of products and, consequently, from that of infrastructures, reaching today a factory of approximately 1000 m2 for product processing, storage and conservation in temperature-controlled cold storage.

Today Cerqueto is present not only in Italy but also in France, Belgium, Germany, Switzerland, Norway and Poland.
