Split pea cream

A warm and velvety cream, ideal for warming up with taste.

 Simple to prepare but full of flavor, it is a nutritious and wholesome first course.

Ingredients (for 2 people):
– 175 g of split peas
- Butter
– Onion, carrot and leek
– Fresh aromatic herbs
– Extra virgin olive oil
– Salt and pepper
– Fresh parsley
– Grated cheese

Preparation:
Sauté the onion, carrot, leeks, and herbs in butter until soft and fragrant. Add the split peas and cover with water. Cook for about 30 minutes, then blend until smooth. Season with salt and pepper and serve with a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil, chopped parsley, and a sprinkling of grated cheese.
