In the international year of legumes 2016, Cerqueto participated in the market that FAO organized at its headquarters from 30 May to 3 June.
Under the motto of the IYP “semi-nutrients for a sustainable future”, the one-week event served to highlight the role that legumes can play in ensuring food and nutrition security in the context of the Zero Hunger Challenge and 2030 Agenda for sustainable development .

Award ceremony among the Ecosustainable Excellence of the Lazio Region.
As part of the Life Go Park project, Cerqueto has been selected as Ecosustainable Excellence. The award ceremony took place on 14/01/2016 at the Lazio Region as part of the Second Project Conference. The project identified companies that stand out for their commitment to disseminating environmental issues and reducing environmental impacts. The objective is to provide citizens with practical examples of good practices adopted to safeguard the environment, reduce the consumption of resources, limit the impact on the territory due to human activities and to preserve biodiversity, realized in the area of the areas Natural Protected which, for their function of protecting the environment, act as a stimulus for the adoption of innovative approaches and methods aimed at combining local development and environmental sustainability.
Expo Milan 2015
On 9 and 10 October 2015 Cerqueto participated in the presentation of the project “The Invisible Cities” hosted by the Lazio Region at Expo Milano 2015 in the Palazzo Italia. Great interest and curiosity of national and international consumers in relation to the products displayed by our company that for years has been committed to supporting the promotion and preservation of the typical Tuscia legumes. Visitors also had the opportunity to taste some of the local gastronomic excellences such as Fagiolo del Purgatorio di Gradoli, Cece del Solco Straight of Valentano and Lenticchia di Onano. Our goal in line with the theme of Expo is to preserve and enhance the traditional products chosen and selected not only for their consistency with the cultural proposal of the project, but also for the links with the territory and their taste excellence.
